This EP is the result of metal retardation and overconsumption of alcoholic beverages, including (but not limited to): beer, fire trucks, whiskey, rum, etc.
This EP is stylistically a departure from the more serious lyrics and topics discussed in the previous albums.
While the preceding album (Røv 2011) focused on the futility of existence, claiming that the fate of humanity, condemned ultimately to perish from cold, is not worth troubling about, and, if taken to heart, it becomes an unendurable tragedy, Fire Trucks and Butter broaches more light-hearted topics, such as being Peter, whilst simultaneously eating shit.
The second song on the EP (Fire Truck With Butter) even mentions the classic cocktail, the fire truck, and remarks how delicious it would be to combine this time-honoured beverage with a gooey stick of butter.
How outrageous!
The final song is about bacon chips.
We ate a lot that weekend.
Yet again, this album was produced in a single night. Although only two of the band members were present, this didn't really have any effect on the quality of the "music", as it couldn't possibly get any worse.
